Disney’s Art of Animation Resort hotel, a value resort, is planned to have 1,120 family suites designed to accommodate up to 6 guests as well as 864 standard rooms with character-themed rooms designed to make you feel like you’re one of the characters. The resort hotel will have four courtyards from the classic Disney Animated films: Disney Pixar’s Finding Nemo (scheduled to open early summer, 2012), Disney Pixar’s Cars (mid summer, 2012), The Lion King (fall, 2012) and The Little Mermaid (Holiday, 2012).

It’s official!
Disney Cruise Line is counting down to the launch of its newest ship to the fleet, Disney Fantasy. On January 8th, Disney Fantasy floated out of the enclosed building dock at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany. Her maiden voyage is March 31, 2012.
With 1250 staterooms accommodating 4000 passengers along with over 1450 crew and castmembers, Disney Fantasy will sail 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries.
